New in Live 3
Streamlined, State-of-the-art Live Recording
The power of Nuendo Live lies in its main purpose - recording live performances. Focus and simplicity are the keys, as it includes just all you need for the live recording process and nothing more. The streamlined workflow and state-of-the-art engine of Nuendo Live 3 deliver maximum reliability and great results, helping you to capture the perfect recording of every performance.
Dongle-less licensing system
Nuendo Live 3 now supports Steinberg Licensing, an account-based license management system that doesn’t require an external hardware dongle. You no longer need to worry about a USB e-Licenser being lost, damaged, or stolen, or it accidentally being knocked out of the recording computer during the show. It also offers the advantage of letting you work offline, so you can set recording sessions up in advance more easily, ready to hit record the moment that the house lights dim.
New Project Template Assistant
One of the most-requested features has been the new Project Template Assistant. Offering a simplified workflow that matches Nuendo Live 3’s streamlined features and operation, instead of saving files as a dedicated template format, now you can use any Nuendo Live 3 project as a template for your next recording. For example, if an artist is playing several shows and you want to record them all, you simply record the first show, then quickly and easily save the setup as a new project for the next one.
Made For Live
Combining the acclaimed audio engine of Nuendo with a dedicated feature set for exceptionally reliable and stress-free operation, Nuendo Live 2 is the ultimate live recording solution for live engineers, production houses, rental companies, and more. The straightforward interface, stability, and remarkable audio quality mean no fuss and no compromise.
With Nuendo Live you are ready to record in less than a minute. The application automatically creates the whole input/output setting right after the start. Plus, Nuendo Live enables you to arm all tracks at once and to set up the naming scheme of recorded tracks, folders, and project files instantly. This time-saving approach allows you to concentrate on what really counts: the show.
Professional audio engineers cannot make any compromises when it comes to sound quality. Steinberg’s award-winning audio engine is known for its natural sound reproduction and can be heard on numerous Grammy and Academy Award-winning productions. Audio signals are internally processed with 32-bit floating point resolution based on the IEEE 754 Standard, making it possible to capture even the finest nuance of your recording.
Reliability is a fundamental requirement when working in the live recording industry. Nuendo Live combines exceptional performance with utmost stability thanks to a streamlined feature set with carefully selected functions based on the proven Nuendo program code.
