🎼 What Are Contours?

A Contour is a pre-recorded string performance with a defined length and dynamic shape. Imagine a swell: 🌊 a 1-bar crescendo seamlessly transitioning into a 1-bar diminuendo, complete with natural bow changes.

With String Contours, you can:

• Change notes without restarting the performance 🎵.
• Maintain the natural phrasing and dynamic shape 💫.
• Achieve realistic vibrato and flow with ZERO MIDI CC programming.

The result? Cinematic, expressive strings with minimal effort.

⏱️ Dynamic Recordings for Different Tempos

No more one-size-fits-all string performances! 🎶 String Contours adapts to your composition’s context:

• 3 Tempo Variations: Performances recorded at slow, medium, and fast speeds.
• 4 Dynamic Shapes: Perfect for diverse emotional storytelling.

Kontakt intelligently selects the ideal sample based on your DAW’s tempo, ensuring seamless playback even during tempo changes. Minimal time-stretching preserves the natural sound. 🎚️

✨ Exception: The "Normale Espressivo" patches are recorded at 140 BPM for fast, expressive passages.

String Contours intelligently adapts to note changes during performance:

• Smooth note transitions tailored to bow movements 🎻.
• Contextual attacks and releases for effortless phrasing.
• Consistent performance style across all instruments and sections for unified arrangements.
