🎜 Spitfire Audio – Hearth & Hollow: Folk Accordion

Step into a creaky countryside living room and uncover the intimate, soul-stirring voice of the Folk Accordion—the third chapter in Spitfire Audio’s acclaimed Hearth & Hollow series.

Crafted by Hunter Rogerson, this beautifully detailed Kontakt 8 library is designed for modern composers, producers, and storytellers seeking vulnerability, warmth, and emotional truth in their music. ✨

🏡 An Accordion Full of Breath, Fragility & Soul

Unlike traditional accordion libraries, Folk Accordion captures the instrument’s breathy, wavering, and fragile character 🎜—every inhale, flutter, and imperfection preserved with care.

It’s ideal for:

• Emotional folk cues

• Indie songwriting

• Intimate underscore

• Atmospheric and cinematic storytelling

The result is a sound that feels human, close, and deeply expressive.

🎛️ Deeply Intuitive & Expressive Control

Expertly programmed by Owen Bolig, Folk Accordion offers a highly playable and intuitive feature set, giving you complete control over:

• Breathy natural attacks

• Warm, evolving swells

• Fluttering vibrato

• Ethereal drones

• Rhythmic and textural articulations

Every element is designed to inspire effortless creativity and fast emotional writing.

🏠 Signature Hearth & Hollow Room Control

A defining feature of the Hearth & Hollow series, Room Control allows you to place the accordion anywhere within the original recording space—
a characterful old living room filled with warmth, nostalgia, and organic resonance.

Shape intimacy or distance with ease, while maintaining a cohesive, authentic acoustic identity.

🎧 NEW: Cross-Library Room Compatibility

For the first time ever, Folk Accordion can be placed inside the iconic rooms of:

• Plucked Folk Ensemble

• Folk Voices

This creates a unified sonic world, allowing all three libraries to blend seamlessly with shared acoustic authenticity across your mixes. 🌿

🌄 Accordion-Based Pads & Emotional Textures

Expand your creative palette with textural pads built entirely from accordion samples.

Instead of traditional room views, you’ll explore beautiful watercolor landscapes—groves, open fields, and wild valleys—each representing a unique emotional space.

Perfect for:

• ✨ Ambient scoring

• ✨ Dreamy folk atmospheres

• ✨ Cinematic texture layering

• ✨ Emotional storytelling
