Pulsar – Smasher (Windows)

Pulsar Audio - Smasher 🎛🔥

Pulsar Smasher is a high-quality, all-buttons-in compressor based on the legendary Urei 1176 hardware unit, known for its aggressive, punchy sound. Designed by Pulsar Audio, this plugin takes the classic "British mode" (all-ratio buttons pressed in) and refines it into a simple, one-knob powerhouse that delivers fat, gritty, and in-your-face compression. Whether you're working on drums, bass, synths, or vocals, Smasher adds punch, attitude, and energy like no other plugin.

🎛 What Makes Smasher Special?

Smasher is not just another 1176 emulation—it's a carefully modified version that focuses solely on the "all-buttons-in" mode. This creates an aggressive parallel compression effect that is perfect for drums, bass, and even full mixes. With its instant attack and release settings, this plugin allows you to add character, density, and glue to your tracks effortlessly.
