Expansions

Expand an instrument you already use

An expansion is usually designed for a particular instrument or sound platform. Check the product listing for the required host and version, and confirm that you have the necessary base software. Expansion content should not be assumed to include the instrument itself.

Browse software synthesizers, compare soundbanks and presets, or explore music software bundles. Read our activation policy and contact support if a host requirement is unclear.

For an example of how instrument platforms and their sound libraries work together, read the Native Instruments guide to Kontakt. Requirements vary by expansion, so check the supplied product details.
