Plini
I've spent hours over the years listening to the unique sound of Simon's bass & hands in my ears, both on tour & in the studio. Having that sound flawlessly replicated in a plugin, and hearing it come out of my speakers, playing whatever I tell it to via MIDI, is absolutely surreal. SubMission Audio & Simon knocked it out of the park with GroveBass. Was nice knowing ya, flesh-Simo!
Misha Mansoor (Periphery)
Simon Grove is a force of nature on bass, both in style and tone. The ability to have his sound and talent readily accessible and on demand, is nothing short of a gift. So if you are a fan of good low end and you want to improve your mixes, GroveBass is a worthy addition to the collection!
Simon Grove (Plini, Intervals, Protest The Hero)
A ridiculous amount of time went into capturing the sound of every fret of every single string in different tunings, multiple times, played by different picking fingers... After all that even just the programming logic of GroveBass is insane... I cannot wait for people to check it out, and I look forward to seeing what they can do with it.
LE FAY HERR SCHWARZ, SAMPLED

GroveBass immaculately captures every tonal detail of Simon's iconic Herr Schwarz HL5 bass guitar. Handmade by boutique German master luthiers Le Fay, it encapsulates the signature sound he is known for.
