🎹 Bowed Piano 🎻
Experience the hauntingly beautiful sounds of the Bowed Piano, a unique instrument that combines the elegance of the piano with the smooth, ethereal quality of bowed strings. Inspired by the works of Curtis Curtis-Smith and Stephen Scott, this instrument offers three distinct articulations: long, sustained bows for a continuous resonance (looped samples) and a short staccato sound created with a tongue depressor and horsehair. Ideal for creating otherworldly, cinematic, and experimental music! 🌟🎶🎵

Mute Piano
Step into the haunting world of the Mute Piano, a revolutionary technique made famous by George Crumb. By lightly touching the piano string at a nodal point, this technique generates ethereal harmonics—primarily the 3rd harmonic, an octave plus a fifth above the fundamental. This effect brings an otherworldly dimension to your piano pieces, adding a delicate, shimmering layer to your soundscapes. Ideal for avant-garde and contemporary music exploration. 🎶🌙

🎹 Plucked Piano 🎸
Inspired by Henry Cowell's groundbreaking technique, the Plucked Piano offers a fresh and percussive twist on the traditional piano sound. By plucking the strings with a guitar pick, the instrument creates both subtle, soft tones and sharp, lively plucks. Recorded with the dampers both down and up, this plucked piano adds unique textures to your compositions—perfect for experimental, minimalistic, or contemporary music. 🎶🎸

🥁 Mallet Piano
Elevate your piano playing with the Mallet Piano! This innovative technique involves striking the piano strings with wooden or marimba mallets to create a rich, percussive timbre. The wooden mallet offers a raw, honky-tonk tone reminiscent of ragtime pianos, while the marimba mallet adds a smooth, resonant quality to your sound. Perfect for adding vintage charm or modern experimental flair to your musical compositions. 🎶🥁

🎹 SFX Piano 🔊
Push the boundaries of sound design with the SFX Piano—a creative playground for the experimental artist. Using classic techniques like scraping the strings, knocking the frame, and strumming the strings, this instrument produces an explosive, resonant soundscape. Perfect for adding ambient noise or experimental textures, the SFX Piano allows you to create intricate, evolving soundscapes full of resonance and impact. 🌪️🎧
